IMO the rise of distraction politics and increased emphasis on social issues as core issues of political campaigns has fragmented the left. It has also shifted focus away from workers' rights and economic struggle to social justice issues and specific types of oppression. The struggle of the the worker is the struggle of any oppressed person. Restructuring the economy/ people's relation to labor will relieve all forms of oppression.

Do you agree/disagree? And more importantly what are some examples of ways to counter-attack distraction politics and help people to focus more on how their relation to labor and its connection to whatever form of oppresion they are experiencing?
