Do you think that ants are socialist or communistic? Their society has a lot of key attributes of socialism and I would say that they are socialists.

"Ant colony optimization algorithms" are a thing. These are probalistic tools that can be used for planning routes, for instance.

I don;t think an eusocial animal can be compared to humans, there are too many things that are different to ever come to such conclusions.
